Passion is a key component in healthy relationships: whether it's the relationship we have with ourself, the relationships we have with our loved ones & colleagues, or the relationship we have with The Divine. Passion is also an energy source: the fire that feeds the work we do in the world.
When we don't have access to that renewable fuel, we "burn out," we get "writer's block," our work lives are stagnant, our sex lives are unsatisfactory, our love lives are dreary and draining, we are unable to see the sacred in ourselves and others. We start "going through the motions" rather than being plugged in and engaged in this journey and adventure we call life.
So how do we re/connect with Passion? The breath is one way.
In this 4 hour workshop you will learn 3 breathing techniques to access your passion, so that you can embody eros in all parts of your life. These techniques will help you become more fully grounded in your body, enhance your intimacy with your partner(s), & commune deeply with The Divine. These techniques are easy to learn, and can be adapted for many body types, situations & intentions.
Doors open at 1:30PM, doors close at 2:00PM. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate late admittance.
Accessibility info: Event location is in East Oakland, BARTable, and has free on-street parking. It is in a private live/work loft in a residential building on the 1st floor, no stairs. The exact address will be given in the registration confirmation email.The space is low-fragrance, & I encourage folx to arrive low or no-scent so that it's more accessible to more people. There are 2 cats who live there, they will be in a closed room during the event. There is a HEPA air purifier running during the event to reduce allergens.
Please note that although this is a QTPOC-centered, not QTIPOC-exclusive, event: a multiracial space that centers the lives & needs of QTIPOC, rather than centering Whiteness or Heteronormativity. All bodies are welcome: trans bodies, thin bodies, old bodies, cis bodies, intersex bodies, gender non-conforming bodies, currently-abled bodies, fat bodies, disabled bodies, young bodies, bodies of any class, religion, race, ethnicity, or spiritual tradition. While there's no way to guarantee that all bodies are represented, it is my intention to have a diverse & welcoming space—so if you have problems being in community with any of the types of bodies listed, this is not the right event for you.

In order to accommodate the broad range of resource realities, I use a 3-tier fee structure. The tiers are named as they are to reflect the amount of “green” you have access to. The Meadow Tier is the “market rate” for the event; Garden Tier is for those for whom market rate would be a hardship; and Savanna Tier is for those with wealth.
There is nothing you have to prove to me about your financial situation, I don't ask for your tax returns or pay stubs. I simply ask that you do some honest reflection about your current financial reality from a mindset of abundance rather than one of scarcity & then choose the tier meets that reality.
