In these times of political upheaval, violence, and insecurity, when genocide and state oppression threaten our communities and the upcoming US presidential election loom large with uncertainty, it is crucial for us to come together, ground ourselves, and reconnect with our bodies. Join us for a Fall Equinox Erotic Embodiment Ritual.
Why Erotic Embodiment Matters Now:
In the face of ongoing injustice, trauma, and systemic violence, the body often carries the weight of our experiences. This ritual will focus on the practice of embodiment as a pathway to healing and resilience. Through intentional breathing, grounding practices, and collective presence, we will reconnect with our bodies and Eros as sources of power, wisdom, and liberation.
What This Embodiment Ritual Offers:
Finding Balance Amidst Chaos: The Fall Equinox is a moment of natural balance between light and dark, inviting us to find equilibrium in a world that feels increasingly unbalanced, weighing on the side of suffering. Through embodied practices like breathwork, authentic movement, and meditation, we will explore how to cultivate a sense of balance within our bodies and spirits, anchoring ourselves amidst the chaos of the current political and social landscape.
Releasing and Healing Through the Body: As we face the collective trauma of genocide, state violence, and systemic injustice, our bodies hold onto fear, grief, and anger. In this ritual, we will engage in an embodied practice of release, shedding what no longer serves us or our movements for justice. By consciously releasing tension, pain, and old narratives stored in our bodies, we create space for healing, empowerment, and new possibilities for action.
Preparing for Inner and Outer Work: The Fall Equinox marks the shift into longer nights and deeper introspection. This ritual invites us to prepare for the inner work required to face the outer challenges ahead. Through mindful movement, reflective exercises, and intentional stillness, we will connect with our bodies’ wisdom, grounding ourselves in preparation for both personal and collective action in the coming months.
Connecting with Ancestral Wisdom and Spirit Through the Body: With the thinning of the veil between worlds, this ritual offers an opportunity to embody our connection to the ancestors—those who have walked before us and whose strength flows through our veins. Through embodied practices, we will honor the wisdom of those who resisted and survived, drawing on their resilience as we face our own struggles for justice and liberation.
What to Bring: A journal, comfortable clothing for movement, and a commitment to showing up as fully as possible in both body and spirit.
payment tiers
For my events, instead of a sliding scale I have 3 different payment tiers. All tiers give access to the same information/attention at the events. There is nothing you have to prove to me about your financial situation, I don't ask for your tax returns or pay stubs. I simply ask that you do some honest reflection about your current financial reality from a mindset of abundance rather than one of scarcity & then choose the tier meets that reality. The tiers are named as they are to reflect the amount of “green” you have access to. The Meadow Tier is my “market rate”; Garden Tier is for those for whom market rate would be a hardship; and Savanna Tier is for those with abundant discretionary income.
